Freedom Air Charter Selects JDA for 135 Certification Upgrade

BETHESDA, MD - JDA Aviation Technology Solutions (JDA) today announced that Freedom Air Charter, a Houston, TX Part 135 Air Carrier operating as RNC Air Services, has contracted with JDA for its 135 ProTM certification service.

135 Pro is a low-cost Part 135 certification support program designed to simplify the process and lower costs associated with obtaining or upgrading a Part 135 Certificate.

The 135 Pro certification support program includes manuals specifically tailored to help charter applicants satisfy FAA requirements as well as coaching, mentoring and training to facilitate the certificate process. A customized web-based application and document manager enables the owner/operator to store and access all Part 135 requirements and obtain full-time support from the JDA expert 135 team.

Freedom Air Charter has been operating under a Single Pilot Part 135 certificate since its first flight February 11, 2010. Company Chief Executive Officer Chris Castillo said that solid growth in business since then has made upgrading its Part 135 certificate necessary.
